The first client
Arashi Interactive opens its doors. Our first client is a local Community Futures organization — and they are still one of our longest-running.
A few years in
Someone has to keep it running
Clients needed someone accountable for keeping things up, not just building them. So hosting became part of the job — and it has been ever since.
The pocket era
Apps join the stack
Phones became the front door. iOS and Android apps joined the sites and systems we design, build and support.

A11yScan: a free tool that scans any live site for WCAG contrast failures and simulates colour blindness. Because eyeballing contrast does not work for everyone.

Design and development came first, and hosting followed a few years later, once clients needed someone accountable for keeping things running. Someone now watches every hosted site at all times — and whoever answers a 2am outage already knows what they're looking at.
